The badge holder has demonstrated they have obtained a high level of knowledge and skill in the base functionality of Maximo. They can perform as a team member on a Maximo project and discuss Maximo capabilities and functionality with a customer. They can recommend configuation and customization points for unique customer requirements.

IoT - Maximo Database Configuration

This course is delivered in two parts, an online part and a classroom part.  You must complete both in order to be awarded the badge.  Selection for attendance is limited to Business Partners and IBMers.  Only those who have completed the online part of the bootcamp will be considered for classroom selection.

Earning the badge

  • The badge is issued after the successfully completing the Maximo 7.6 - Bootcamp which include:
  • Complete all required activities and assignments identified in the course which includes reading assignments, viewing of videos and passing each section quiz at 80%.
  • Complete all identified Maximo Simulation Courses with an 80% grade.
  • Receive a 'GO' on group projects which include creation of Classification Structures, Organizational structural, new applications and workflow design.
  • Attend the course which includes hand-ons exercises. (Invitation Only)

What does holding the badge represent?

This badge is an IBM recognized badge that attest the following skills have been obtained by the holder:
  • Define and create organization and sites.
